Recycling scrap metal with imagination and a MIG welder, Gavin Darby of Frailloop creates metal sculpture designed mainly for the garden and other outside locations. Garden gates, business signs, office focal points and of course the unique garden animals and flowers have all come out of the Nottinghamshire based Frailloop workshop.

All at sea

Amongst the tasks that got completed this week was to visit the cottage Gallery in Wedmore, Somerset. (Do visit if you are passing by - its a lovely little gallery holding a huge amount of wonderful, creative goodies). On the way home I took a little detour to see the donkey sculpture on the outside edge of Weston-Super-Mare and then visited the seaside. As the picture of my satnav shows I can drive over the sea!

Archie finds a new home.

Archibold Ant who has moved to Grizedale Camping site (www.grizedale-camping.co.uk) right next to the famous Grizedale Sculpture Park. Archie will be taking a little walk up into the woods where he has a new home.
